Description
Having gained control over her rage and collected her thoughts, the Queen called in her two leading knights to detail and explain how their failed attack occured. Sir Godfrey, the older and more experienced fighter, aimed the catastrophe's cause at Sir Helmsford's impetuous actions. Younger, headstrong and with less experience in tactical affairs than Godfrey, Helmsford ordered his division to attack Horgwald's fortress before the other divisions were ready for action. Helmsford snarled at Godfrey stating that Godfrey was getting too old and cautious to lead the tactical affairs of the army and that more swift and decisive actions were required.
The Queen was most displeased to see this rift between her knights and told them to go to their respective quarters and cool off. She fully realized now that dealing with Horgwald could not be accomplished through armed force and that she must meet with him. After all, he was her half brother and perhaps their blood ties would be stronger than the lance.
