Description
Modeled in Modo and rendered in Octane render.
I haven´t been this excited about a 3d app since I rendered reflective spheres over water in Bryce back in 1998! Having blurred reflection, global illumination and dof rendered before your eyes in a couple of seconds is fun, fun, fun!
This image was rendered for about 10 min @ 1500*2000 pixels.
Octane render is in beta and lack a lot of features at this stage, but after playing with it for a couple of hours I`m convinced that the days of Cpu based rendering is over.
Thanks for stopping by!

You are right! octane is cool. I did a video about exporting from Carrara to Octane and did a lot of tests... no more CPU rendering in a few years.

A render of this quality in 10 mins - I can see why you are excited! Now if only it would cope with Carrara hair!
