Hi, I'm Marilyn. Â I've been posting here on RR for a few years now and thought it was time to update my profile. Â It's been wonderful learning so much from the amazingly talented people here. Â I've had the chance to meet many in person and some have become great and good friends. Â Starting with a Kodak Brownie camera when I was about 7 or 8, moving up to Instamatics, Polaroids, then the Pentax K1000 that really got me on the way, I've been looking at the world thru a lens for a long time. Â Got the bug honestly; my dad was a photographer and gave me the gene!! Â Digital changed the world and I jumped in with both feet. Â You would've gone thru 100's of rolls of film in one day the way we can shoot and delete all day long. Â Progess...it can be awesome sometimes.
At any rate, RR rocks, the talent is over the top and I'm just gonna keep on shooting!!
Thanks for looking and keep those cameras rollin'!!
peace.....marilyn

This brings bach wonderful memories Marilyn and I have no photos to remind me of the "salt' hoodoos in Mono Lake. Fantastic capture and colors. Dana

What a strange effect. It looks like the salty rocks are floating clouds in the sky....what a trip.

It looks other worldly. Never been there, but it looks like an interesting place to check out someday.

Terrific dark/light contrast in this shot of the famous lake, Marilyn, and the blue of the water really sets it off.
