I am confused today .. its a holiday weekend here and I thought it was Sunday ..until about 12 PM this is a blossom of some vegetable ..it was around the pumpkins and squash so its most likely one of these .. Im sure one of you may know what it is .. veggie blossoms are often overlooked when taking photos of flowers ...but I think they are very pretty as well thank you for your comments and favs on my other work ..

It's definitely something in the squashy-gourd-ish family. "Squashy-gourd-ish" is a terribly technical, scientific word, you know! Anyway, I think it's in that family because the petals have that crinkly look that I always see with zucchini flowers, only zucchini flowers are more yellowish. I love the way these petals are folded over and the way they catch the light and shadows. This is really nice. You do nature stuff so well!
