Ooh, dem females be a-talkin'... This is in part a celebration of the cyclical nature of life, and also a setup for the "Very Special Episode" coming soon. That story will have a similar setting but a different theme, so I thought I should separate this and that by a few posts. An explanation, or the one important thing here is that the little girl, KELLY, in frame 2 has grown into the beautiful woman of frames 4 and 5. This will be important again soon. In case you are interested in the other characters: FRAME 1: Didi, Haruka, and Helen. FRAME 3: Claire, Suki, and Robin. Claire is Didi's daughter. Robin is Helen's niece. Haruka and Suki are not related, but both grew up in Japan and have similar personalities. It's hard to say why buxom redheads, monochromatic-wardrobed Asians, and pear-shaped, overly made-up brunettes tend to gravitate toward each other. However, Miss Strong (frames 2, 4, and 5), Didi and Kelly's grandmother, may have had something to do with making sure that the second generation got together. Well, that, and because I'm a guy and I like "one of each!" :-) As for Miss Strong's mysterious lack of aging, she will say that once you have passed a certain point (she won't say when that is), the changes tend to slow down a bit. Finally, don't worry that you're becoming just like your parents. You probably are! But, is that really such a bad thing?
