Description

This is our youngest cat when we first brought her home. She and her siblings were in a box and thrown from a car. The person tried to throw them over a bridge but missed the river. Our neighbor found them and brought them home. We took in the runt. I named her Tassel after the book character Tasselhoff. Her name fits her well.

Awwwwwwwwwwww! That poor kitten! She's sooooooooo cute! How can people be so cruel as to treat defenseless little animals so terribly? Glad you rescued her and gave her a nice home.

So glad she and her siblings were rescued. She reminds me of our latest rescue, Simon. He was four months old, and grossly underweight for his age, had been abandoned out in the country. We rescued him from a shelter, and he was very sick, almost died, but I slept with him on my shoulder to keep him warm, fed him boiled chicken, & got him back to health. He is now almost three years old, and 15+ pounds, and a very healthy, rambunctious kitty cat. He is also a tabby. Love the tabbies.

She's adorable and so tiny. I'm so glad she and her siblings were saved. My youngest cat was rescued too. I don't know how she got there, but she turned up scared under one of the bulk oil tanks at the oil change where I work. She may have been crying for her mother, because she surely didn't want anything to do with us. One of the lube techs flushed her out with water, (after two days of more gentle enticements) and brought her in a box to my office. He knew what a soft touch I am for cats. She was named Rotella after the diesel oil (Tella for short). She was so scared of us to start with. Now she is a bundle of affection. Lovely capture of Tassel and great name! Thanks for identifying my spider. I had no idea what kind it was.
