Description

Along the trail, I saw this tree down. I looked closer and realized that a beaver have been busy at this. Thanks for the view, comments and faves Mike For those who are interested, the Monster Faerie Pinup Babe Challenge is going all through the month of August. Have fun!

Yeah! Those little critters sure know how to bring down a tree in a hurry when you get enough of them together! Great capture! Looks like they abandoned the project though. Very interesting!

Those pesky beavers can chew through those trees in no time flat and rebuild their dams faster then you can blink an eye.

wow i read of the mountian men trapping them and the lives and stories of them like Jed. Smith and many others. This is the first time I saw work of the beavers. hahhah remind me of Gizzle Adam he build a little shelter out of wood between two trees. Anyway he did something to the beavers just for fun but the beavers did not think it was funny and they went to his camp and ate the two trees down that was supporing his shelter. He never made fun with them again

It's amazing how Beavers can take down trees of all any size given enough time. I see trees downed by Beavers by the lake and each time a new tree being worked on but so far haven't seen the Beavers just thier work. Excellent capture!

Amazing! Never actually seen a beaver's work before. At least the tree will stay warm with that thick coat of moss.
