Description

The Eagle Transporter from Space 1999 is still one of my favorite spaceships of all time. This fantastic model is by IDW at 3D Warehouse. The environment is made from standard Bryce things. The titanic inspiration for it did not exist 20 years ago... I just got Bryce 7 and have fallen in love with it already. Thanks for viewing!

I remember really liking that series when I was a kid, but now that I know some science and stuff it's nearly unwatchable. (How do you blow the moon out of orbit with an explosion and not shatter it? How fast would the moon have to be traveling to visit a different planet every other week? How can the Eagles land and then take off again from a planet without really big booster tanks? Where did they get their fuel, oxygen, food, etc? You get the picture!) But, this picture looks great, nice rendering job! :)

I have to agree, The Eagle Transporter is my all time favorite spaceship. I rented the episodes last year and watched them all. It sure brought back memories. Excellent rrender!! :)
