Joshua took the glow globe from it's hidden compartment in his breast plate and set it to fly thirty feet in front of them. They stepped from the metal lined room that sat at the bottom of the stairway that led a thousand feet up to the hanger where Stefan was setting his people in place. Now they were actually entering the crust of the planet. The tunnel they were in stretched out as far as the light could reach. The tunnel itself was a natural one, not blasted or excavated. Using the armor's helmet, Joshua watched for any electromagnetic fields. And dead ahead a weak field danced across the passage. Joshua pulled his tricorder out and began to take readings. "We have a motion sensor here."Kirk told the others as he pointed out the sensors location. "It appears to have been tripped already. I can't pick up any other electrical activity, so this must just be an aerly warning device. Probably used to set of something else further up this tunnel. Let's go."
