Description

Captured 6/12/10, at the Centennial Aviation Day celebration held on the grounds of the beautiful Dominguez Rancho Adobe Museum in Carson, California. Don't bother to zoom, it'll come out the same size. Taking photographs of my fellow photographers is one of the favorite things I do when attending my many events/visits. Just love it. But, inexplicably, I didn't follow through at the recent Civil War reenactment I just attended. I must be slipping. Or maybe there was too much other stuff screaming for my attention. Anyway, these photogs are armed with at least two cameras, and the big long lensed ones they do have look like the Mount Palomar telescope. These guys are definitely loaded for bear. The gentleman depicted in the bottom picture works for channel 28 KCET, our PBS television affiliate in Los Angeles. Ta-ta, thankx for clicking on, and for any and all complimentary comments and faves.

I've finally decided to give two cameras a try but it won't be until September. Too much going on at any aviation show to only have one lens ready to go. Most of these guys have an advantage...they are working for an employer who buys their gear. A fine five framer here today Harry.

People watching at its best Harry. Couldn't carry all the equipment that #4 has - my back wouldn't be able to take it. Great collage. Dana

Oh my, that looks cumbersome! All that heavy stuff, I can barely manage my much-smaller one! Oh well, what we do for art, eh? Excellent series of candid portraits!
