Description

This would-be ace enjoys a moment of serenity before a fateful encounter with Cylon foes. Sadly, the ensuing confrontation proves disastrous for the unfortunate Viper pilot. UV mapping/texturing is becoming more and more enjoyable and satisfying of late. It’s a case of instant gratification – make a change to the picture file, slap it on the model, and there it is. This, compared to the long, involved process of scene creation/rendering, with all the complexities of lighting, atmosphere, composition, and everything else that goes into an image I can live with. Viper, hangar, and all odds ‘n ends are Wings3d/Bryce5 originals. Coxxon Raptors mid-scene. V4 and M3 clothed and posed in DAZ and brought into Bryce. Textures and postwork using PSP8. Spectacular. It looks like that hanger goes on forever. Sorry to hear about the final outcome. It's always the same in war. Wonderful scene, wonderful lighting.
