Description
This image was inspired by 'Absolution Gap', the last book in the Revelation Space trilogy by Alastair Reynolds. I'm not going to explain what's going on, because that would give away too much of the end of the trilogy, so suffice to say: it's about to get good! Read it if you're interested, it's got my recommendation. If you have read it, there are a few small liberties i have taken composition-wise
