Nella foto di stamani una fortunata combinazione tra luce , colori e posa della libellula . La luce dorata , unita al colore della libellula mi ha fatto pensare a un delicato gioiello ( un gioielo della natura ).
In the picture this morning a fortunate combination of light, color and laying of the dragonfly. The golden light, combined with the color of the dragonfly made me think of a delicate jewel (jewels of a kind).
La foto è scattata con obiettivo Tamron 90mm macro con duplicatore 1,4x.
The photo is taken with Tamron 90mm macro lens with 1,4x Doubler.
Libellula depressa L. - Corpo lungo circa 4 cm e apertura alare di 7-8 cm. L'addome è lungo e slargato, affusolato posteriormente, di colore azzurro chiaro nel dorso, nel maschio, giallo miele nella femmina.
Dragonfly depressed L. - Body about 4 cm long and wingspan of 7-8 cm. The abdomen is long and square, tapered rear, light blue in the back in the male honey-yellow in the female.

This is one of my favorites of your excellent captures of dragonflies! Wonderful light and detail. I love the patterns on the wings! and the lines going down the body. It is marvelous how well he shows up against his surroundings, even though he is of similar color. He looks like a golden brooch. Beautiful light and shadow! Have a good day and weekend.
