Description
These orchids were behind a chain link fence in the Conservatory at Volunteer Park in Seattle. Everything else was accessible, but the orchids were locked up and out of reach.
I don't know much about orchids, but these must be pretty special!

What jumped out at me first was the beautiful color of this shot. It is very soft, yet rich. Wonderful lighting and composition! I love the combination of open blooms and buds, the lines of the leaves in the background and the delicate fern. Beautiful image!
