Description
Just a quickie with the cell phone camera. Had to do some cropping afterwards.
Museum of Flight hosted a lunch for members today so we could watch the Blue Angels take off to practice for SeaFair.
Their C130 support also did a flyby. Had a C-5A fly Lake Washington in the distance, but it didn't swing by the MOF.
Other interesting things that were not on the schedule was another F/A-18 in Navy gray that set off car alarms in the parking lot, a vintage F7F Tigercat and F8F Bearcat, and a Lear 25 in Air Force livery...

Paula's youngest daughter, who just turned 18, turned to me after the Navy F/A-18 stood on its tail and stated "I WANT ONE OF THOSE!" (Get in line kid... LOL) Of course, I'd be just as happy with the F7F and F8F that took off after the Angels had shut down for the day...

I last saw the Blue Angels back in the 1970's when they were flying F4J Phantom's!! They didn't always get it right, see http://www.alexisparkinn.com/Photogallery2/1970%20BlueAngelCrashInCID/1970OoopsinCID.jpg for an example!
