Description

Greetings and Welcome to "29 Palms Raceway" which just happens to be the next location in a series of imaginary raceways created fresh from the pages of my imagination.Well for those following along this raceway had it's moments during the construction phase with all the heavy equipment and dust and people coming and going ....heck it took 3 days alone just to get a permit to sink all those palm trees you may have noticed flanking the right side of the raceway....lol...something about buried optic cables or something...anyway...Had to contract out myself at making a new model(Grandstands)for this location simply because no one was available at the moment because they are all at the other secret location designing and building the up coming raceway that myself and Mr. Coolcatcom will be racing at head to head.(thanks George for donating your imagination and kick azz model to help bring this creation to life.)Besides you just don't slap a grandstand together ,you have to think safety and OSHA requirements and all that legal stuff...lol..Sooooo anyway...for those who have scene or followed the sport of drag racing and this series of raceways I've been creating I decided this time to go with this particular POV because the 1st 2 raceways I created where coming at you at an angle and this time I chose to go away at an angle from the viewer.Keeping it fresh with variety. Also being the first time with this newly created dragster from my model collection I was looking for something different and closer up this time around. So anyhow I hope you like and would love to stay and chat but I'm a busy artist these days it seems and have another raceway I have to finish...as you know it's hard to find good help these day...lol..and now only if I can remember where the secret location is...hmmmmm...Once again thanks for popping in....sharing your thoughts and views and we will enjoy seeing you again real soon...Take care and as always Happy Rendering! -Will- Anybody know of a good cure for blisters?...those grandstands where a challenge and a pain in the (cencored)all those bolts and screws and....lol...

Not a lot of people to see these monsters! Because of the fog? Too early in the morning?

To the observant eyes you are 100% correct...early morning time trials and no people...sorry I failed to mention that in the above reading...actually up until now I was getting away with the lack of no people simply because I don't use Poser or Daz Studios and had designed the scene with that in mind .Knowing at some point they may of come into play or needed is why this raceway was chosen with an early morning feel..(Good eye folks)Thinking though that if I was to have created people do you realize how many would be need to fill the stands?....way more than I could create...lol..Thanks for commenting and it's a great feeling when what you design is noticed(empty stands)by those who also create art ...(smile)...who knows someday I might learn how to do people but as for now I'll just work around it...many thanks folks.. -Will-

Will, One cool looking raceway and machines. Looking forward to all up coming events. Regarding the people issue. You should mention that these events are for VIP's. The VIP folks are there at this event (right now) however they can't be seen as they the important souls that they are have located themselves in the enclosed club house and can't been seen. Now this explains the people thing! Heck man you gotta to learn to lie a bit other wise you'll be outta of business in no time. Fantastic work my friend keep on rocking! Listen I can e-mail you a posed sitting woody but if you replicate it a 100 plus times or so your gonna wind up with one huge render. Might even freak out your machine. George

Nice job. I didn't use people in my renders for the longest time either, but, with the advent of DAZ Studio, being free and all, and enough freebie content on the web, I started insisting on the use of humanoids in my work for that added touch of realism, keep up the good work.
