Great close up, so much excellent detail, re-enactors go to so much trouble to achieve authenticity, and it gives oportunities for this sort of picture, this was almost impossible during the war, so priceless reference material.

Waiting - the worst part of any battle situation. What will happen? Where's the foe? Will I make it, be wounded, or die? Anxiety. Nervous small talk. Then ...WHAM! It's during waiting time a lot of the WWII photos were taken. However, at the front, few cared about their dress - it was what was most practical that was important. I've seen a photo of a German tank officer in his boxer shorts giving orders during a lull in the fighting. I hope he had the time to pull something more on before fighting started again. I hope that Panzerfaust is not loaded - they were extremely devastating. Any armour in this re-enactment? Got any photos of it? Good photo with attention to detail. Keep up the good work! :)
