Looks like rust. That's my first choice, but the greenish bit kinda makes me think that this is some kind of granite or other geologically-based tile or something. At any rate, it's interesting. I could say that its the cloud deck of a super-massive gas giant planet...and in fact I will say that's what it is, but don't ask me to name the super-massive gas giant planet in question, as I haven't quite made that part up yet. I like this puzzling shot and the way it's open to so many interpretations.
