Description

Good Evening, friends! Duisburg again. At first: Thanks for your comments for my last pic. Many of them were very touching and many of you found the right words for such a worst theme. Thanks again! The dead of young people is one thing - and the things happened later is another: -TILL TODAY NOBODY IS ABLE OR WILLING TO BEAR RESPONSIBILITY; -not the organizer; -not the police; -not the security; -not the mayor of Duisburg; -not somebody of the authorities; -not the local politicians. All of them declare themselfes as "not guilty"; failed had only the others. Its a shame; is is as the victims would be killed one more time.... The citizen of Duisburg are very angry, and the feeling for the victims was overwhelming! This was the most touching moment for me here: It seemed as if the citizens were ashamed about their authorities and they tried to heal this wound. It was a steady stream of citizens passing by with candles and flowers.... From a writing at a wall: "Here died at 24th July 2010 in the interest of the consume- and profit-oriented joy-industry 20 persons. Many more than 500 people were heavily injured at their bodies. Many tenthousand people were heavily injured at their souls. In deepest sadness the citizens of Duisburg excuse for the refuse of the brains of their authorities." Thanks for your interest in this very difficult theme, and thanks for your comments for my last pic. This pic here is the last in the series, tomorrow something new starts. Hope you have had a nice weekend, whereever you live. Weekend here ended 10 minutes ago.... Be careful! billcody, Berlin

Bill Cody, I did not know of this tragedy. I read: 'The Premier of North Rhine-Westphalia state, Hannelore Kraft, vowed at the service Saturday to push through the investigation to its conclusion. "Who bears the guilt? Who is responsible? These questions must and will be answered," she said.' I do hope some responsibility is accepted and not a scape goat punished. Much more than that, I wish more for the hearts and lives of the ones who have lost a loved one, a part of them gone leaving an emotoinal empty hole for now... and for those injured in the tunnel crush. To those living are my prayers.
