Description

Ok, my first attempt at a some what more original picture. After buying the kitchen set in the market place, for some reason that image popped right into my head. All posed and set up inside of poser Tree added, then all rendered in bryce. Minor post work in Photoshop 7.

Wow, although a very sad concept but very true, you did a wonderful job, great detail and brought a tear to my eye.

Nice work 'Duck. My only problem is the room doesn't looked lived in, to me it looks more like a couple of homeless people have broken into a model home. You mentioned having Rhino and your intention to make a few props, I'd suggest making some simple kitchen objects to clutter up the room with.

Yeah. I had intended to throw a few soda cans around, and some pots and pans. Also wanted to put some smashed textures on the glass cupboards. But when adding it all in bryce for renedering, my computer almost dies. Plus it had an estimated 56 hour render. (this one was estimated 17, and took 4 and half.. so 56 would only be about 14 i guess) Unfortunately, my computer never stays up that long without dying. Hopefully soon, i can update my memory and get around to doing some better scenes. Thanks for the comments.

Nice pic so far! A few things I would do is, make sure everything is in scale to one another. Looks like if the poser guy stands up his knees would be counter level. The fridge looks way too small, or is it one of those economy ones? :p Also, I would place lights in relation to where they should be, like ceiling, outside (for sunlight) and maybe a scattered few with very little brightness and no shadows for 'fill' light. You should also try rendering in Poser too.

Actually, that guy IS to scale. I think he looks huge too, but i posed it all in poser and did the scales in there. The sink is just up to his hip... which i where a sink comes up to on me.. so i went with that. I will try the lighting placement soon too. Didn't attept it this time, more because I wanted an even colour so i could give it an old photo look after. With well placed lighting, a lot of the picture was coming out too dark or too bright, and confusing things when colour was removed.
