Description
An atom bomb has been dropped by Nagasaki on August 9th in 1945. There was a Catholic Urakami cathedral near the blast center. This place was the sacred place where a Christian has been suppressed and executed in the Edo Period. Many Christians gathered in Urakami cathedral. The all died by an atom bomb. About 74,000 people have died of atomic bombing to Nagasaki. Many Christians persecuted by a military government in at that time are included during it.
Last Judgment day, they are Christian, what would appeal to God.

war is the greatest failing of man. so many innocent people die for the mistakes and aggression of a few egomaniacal individuals. it pains me when i think of the suffering caused by the bombs dropped on japan. your well done image and commentary are both most fitting in memory for the suffering of the survivors and all the lives lost during this horrific event during a horrific war.

There are always other view points are there not. The west generally sweeps under the rug the cost of innocent Japanese civilians in two cities who were obliterated in what could easily be considered war crimes.
