Description
St Georges Chapel is the official home of the Order of the Garter and, in size, is more like a small cathedral than a chapel.
In the seating area reserved for the Garter members are the coats of arms of every member since it's foundation, plus many tombs and memorials to them, monarchs and other members of nobility.
A fascinating place to explore - it's such a pity they don't allow photography inside as some of the masonry and decor are magnificent. Well worth the visit.
