interesting lighting on this one. very bright, but very dark shadows. the light and shadow falling across the dormouse is especially interesting. the hatter seems much more sane and sinister than in the original work. it's a very adult, slightly seedy, and fairly creepy take on the classic scene. it doesn't go as far as your horror, but it definitely shows your style. very cool work.

While anybody can like this image, you have to be a connoisseur to really appreciate it. The way the beautiful table cloth hang natural from the table, the old books, the almost natural Poser figures (so difficult to do) is taken for granted of many people but WE know better. Also the render is superb in clarity and crispness. The only tiny flaw is some small halos around the girl which could have been fixed with some post work! This scene is not so innocent or intended to be.
