Say your prayers little one don't forget, my son to include everyone I tuck you in, warm within keep you free from sin till the sandman he comes sleep with one eye open gripping your pillow tight exit light enter night take my hand off to never never land something's wrong, shut the light heavy thoughts tonight and they aren't of snow white dreams of war, dreams of liars dreams of dragon's fire and of things that will bite sleep with one eye open gripping your pillow tight exit light enter night take my hand off to never never land now I lay me down to sleep pray the lord my soul to keep if I die before I wake pray the lord my soul to take hush little baby, don't say a word and never mind that noise you heard it's just the beast under your bed, in your closet, in your head exit light enter night grain of sand exit light enter night take my hand we're off to never never land- metallica hi folks, just a quick one tonight. it's my version of the old dc comics character the sandman.as you probably guessed i have a large collection of comics some really old. this character was a favorite of mine way back.he wasn't really super powered like superman. he just put villans to sleep with a gas gun and of course fought em hand to hand. i had to do a little bit of research to come close to what he looked like when i was reading the books. i found some old covers but most were fairly new. i'm guessing one of the shots i saw was a newer version with gas coming from his gloves.i thought right up my alley (no pun intended) no doubt. so this is my version of him as i remember him and as dc portays him today combined with one of my favorite songs. i hope ya'll comic fans enjoy this. thanks eternally for your support :) as always, *till the dragon flies again,hugs and regards* lee
