Description
here a model of a aircraft carrier I took a shot of in the museum they have there. it worth going thought there too. I got a lot of shots but my camera shakes even thought I have it on no shake mode. I keeping them for memory. There a lots of models in the museum
thanks for looking and comments too.
The model is under glass and i know it looks surreal with the confederation flag on the side there. I into surreal anyway.

Strange looking carrier. The smoke stacks look like it could be Japanese, but the gun tubs and guns are US, dreadfully narrow and long deck looks Japanese, planes are US. Elevators center deck look Japanese or British. ANd the ship type is too late to be from the Confederate navy. I'm stumped - was there no description? Nice point of view - a pilot's eye view in a fly-over. Interesting with the light effects.

they had some confederation arm stuff over to the side and that why the flag was there. I did take phots of the confederation display but the camera shook under to bad lighting and I had no tripod and it was a point and shot camera. The flash would be all over the place for they had a lot of glass all over the place too

Very interesting, appears to be an escort carrier, smaller than the capiol ships, quicker to build and good for convoy duties.A large number of these carriers went on to serve in the Island hopping campaign in the Pacific.

All those models are packed real close and tight on that model carrier. They set up like that on a real carrier, I wonder. Cool capture ! George
