The background and the petals remind me of a style of book covers, which were popular in the middle of the last century, at least in Holland. The character and his outfit could fit in with a suspense novel from the earlier part of the nineteen hundreds. Somehow the picture also reminds me of some comic books from may be the nineties. Good picture.
