Description
Here's this week's pepper harvest. I'm particularly proud of the 3 yellow ones on the bottom. These are golden habaneros, and they are the first peppers this plant has produced in 1.5 years, and the only habaneros I've ever grown.
I'd never eaten a raw, whole habanero before, so the other day I tried one of these just to see what it was like. Here's what it was like: It was hot. It was very, very hot. This type can be twice as hot as an orange habanero, so I can't recommend trying this at home unless you are a trained professional with proper safety equipment.
The color of this type is really nice, too. Looks great in the garden against all the other greens and reds.

The white on white really sets the peppers out on center stage.
