Sorry about short comments and staements: I hurt myself fairly bad Tuesday - I stepped off a loading dock and dropped straight down 18 inches (.5meters) and hurt my left thigh.

Interesting image! And ouch, as well! Those loading docks caught me a couple of weeks ago too — I knocked one of my big toenails almost completely off. Getting better now though. An unexpected 18" drop would probably result in a crushed hip if that happened to me. Fortunately another publisher will be taking over my book orders and deliveries, so that accident may well have been my last large delivery. Hope you are back on your feet (both of them) fast Mike!

Ooooops and ouch sounds like a nasty jar !! Had a fall myself, 2.5 metres and landed on my bum, that was 25 years ago and the damned thing still hurts. Now that one made my eyes water and produced some very bad language :)
