I was cutting up okra and these pods were old and tough so I thought I would make them good for something :)

Superb image! Okra always reminds me of the slugs of the plant world...well, when cooked, at least; its always so intriguingly snotty. I'm always amazed that people (including me, if I eat it IN something else) like it. I love what you've done to it here. The soft colors are quite nice and I love the textures and patterns. This is well seen and nicely creative.
