Description

Please take a moment to view full size :-) It's been a month. Do you remember the three demigoddess's were in the midst of a raid on Sargon's lair? Let us join them now. Ninshubar, we made it!....this is the entrance to the throne room! At last, we're at Sargon's lair. Good my Lady, for I have just spent my last arrow! We'll need Alora to cover for us when we go in. Where is that kid? I knew she wouldn't be able to keep up with us. Alora found the remains of her father, it .... well, it slowed her down a bit. She can deal with his dead bones later, Ereshkigal has him now! She should be here for our final rush! Alora is doing her job clearing the last of the guards from the hallway behind us. She has fought hard My Lady. Alora let us get this far this fast. She is half human, remember - she does not have our strength. Ok, I hear you. But we cannot waste time waiting for her. I can feel Sargon; he is right here. I'm not gonna wait and let the bastard escape. He cannot escape, this is the only entrance to the throne room. This is the only public entrance! There are always other ways out. I'm going in now! Are you coming with me or waiting for her? I think we should give Alora a chance to catch up. No, Ninshubar! The way is clear now! I'm not waiting a moment longer. Then my Lady I'm right behind you; let's get him! What the heck happened to Alora? What could slow her down even more? Next time maybe we'll know. Previous Ishtar

Great job all around on this one Roxie, it is such an exciting presentation and so well done in both image and story. Don't know how you do it but the pov you chose is perfect and makes you feel like your right there in the middle of the battle.

Dave (magnus): It was pure dumb luck. I did a zoom on a bigger scene in photoshop to do some fine editing and realized it looked much better than the wide scene I was working on. So I reset the scene up with a tighter camera angle and rendered it again.

Another fabulous scene with great figures, realistic fire and light and great props! Only look on the detailed work on the bow! I especially likes the look on Ishtar's face this time. What is her hairstyle called? I am a big fan of all kinds of braided hairstyles.

Wow, Roxy, this is REALLY intense! The look on her face....well..... I wouldn't want to be on the wrong end of her bow! In reading your reply to magnus - I think doing that close crop rather than a wide view was a stroke of genius, not dumb luck. It really focuses the eye on the main character, and gives it a hell of a lot of drama. Brilliant! They use this technique in movies all the time, and it works just as well - if not better - when telling a story with stills. I must make a mental note of this for future use. Thanks for the inspiration! This seriously kicks butt!

Never a work without the face expressions, your works capture not just the action but the emotions of each character on the scene. With your amazing stories and superb rendering- you always give entertainment to all those who see your works.
