Description
Again the Wiltshire downs above Mere. This shows the differing fields, the brown of the ploughed area with the chalk showing through, the lush green alongside and the gold of the wheat field. Once again zoom helps.

this scene makes me think of the Blackmore's Night song "Home Again." dancing in the moonlight, running down the lane... thanks for sending a taste of England to those far away and foreign to the land. it's very lovely.
