I'm not a Trekkie, but I always liked Star Trek, or at least some versions of it. The latest movie really hit home here and I liked the fact that they brought it all up to date so to speak. Lens flares in space...etc. And you got to see a lot more of Enterprise than ever before. Spock was my favorite character when I was a kid and saw the first Star Trek series on TV, and he was my favorite in the latest movie. Zackary Quinto really did him justice. Personally I'm in a very twisted and surreal place at the moment and I can't shake it, so instead I've done a lot of art lately that is a mirror of how I see the world around me. Both surreal and abstract paintings are being produced, and it's fun :) And for as long as I don't have any portraits of kids, pets or other dear family members to do, I will keep fiddling with this. Might not be a good idea if a commission shows up, but unless that happens it's ok.
