Description

The first of a series of wood-carved animals. Also the logo of my new graphic studio. Radiosity is faked by a light dome, I find it faster and warmer, especially in lighting simple objects for presentation.

This is a very nice presentation. Perhaps the leg could be a bit thicker, and that knot could be further up, but it's very nicely done.

Could someone explain to me what a "light dome" is.

A light dome refers to a collections of lights arranged around a scene (a dome or sphere shape it best for most purposes). Check out Boris Cargo's cool '50grey' plugin, which does just this exact thing: http://boriscargo.free.fr/C4D/GREY/grey.html Baden > Sorry ... using your space as a forum. ;)
