What a wonderful piece of artwork! This is absolutely perfect to go with the S&G classic song. That is my all time favorite song from Simon & Garfunkel. It still makes me tear up whenever I hear it. I've looked at this image over several days now as I try to describe the strong visual metaphore that you have created. I don't think any words I can say will add to a deeper understanding of the image; it is clearly apparent for those with eyes to see. I have played with wave brushes just enough to appreciate their unique challenge and here one sees a composition based basically on painted waves with some lightning for added affect. Even without the figure, just the waves, lightning and bridge would make a fine work.
