Hi there. This guy I found as we take a excursion with the school class of my oldest child. I got no macro with me but I must take a shot of him. I'm not sure about the species but they are very common here.

Your kit lens still does remarkable work this closeup- you cant get quite as close as you can with the 60mm macro prime, but this is still very nice!

looks like someone had a leash on it.in Mexico the children puts strings on June beetles and lets them fly around in a circle
