Description

The emblem of St Mark and Venice are indivisible. This is the magnificent depiction in St Mark's Square. I had to start somewhere with Venice images..... Spent a fascinating few days there last week.

This is gorgeous! I've just written another story in my "Nemaean" universe that obsesses my Muse on occasion and so I'm particularly sensitive to lion imagery right now as Leo, the celestial lion figures prominently in the symbolism of that fictional (non photographic) universe...and WOW! What an eye-popper this is! This is magnificent!
