Description

This is more or less a test to see how far I could push my machine- hence the lack of extra doo-dads, and some funky bumps and lumps on Vicky... "papillon68" has done an amazing job on his two canine critters- wolf and coyote. I'd been wanting a wolf, and when I saw this one with fur, I had to snag it (actually the coyote was first, but when the wolf made it here to R'osity, he had to join my runtime!). Now, when he specifies that you need a powerful machine to use them, he kids you not! This render took 18 minutes and used up to 8.29GB of RAM on my machine. Of course it's less with only one animal, but that's why I wanted to push it with two- to see if it could handle the "pressure"... It didn't blow up, so that's a plus! :o) This, zoomed, is the actual size render (cropped top and bottom to get rid of extra nothing-ness), and the only postwork is V4's painted hair, fixed some odd bends on her shorts, and minor tonal adjustments on her face. The wolf and coyote are as rendered. Spectacular results for 3D fur! I'm impressed! These guys will definitely appear in more renders, that's for sure! So if you have a 64 bit machine with lots of "oomph", these critters are well worth it! :o) Thanks for having a look, and as always for the faves and comments on my other stuff! :o)=) Have a great day / night! ~A V4 with Steph Petite morphs, basic wear and textures from DAZ.

Really nice work on this picture. The funky bumps and lumps as you put it aren't even that noticeable. Nice job.

The coyote makes the pic--what a goof, and what perfect fur! My computer has no oomph, but I love seeing this and how wonderful the fur looks--that is a huge step forward for rendering!

Okay, this is really cool! Now I have to try this wolf and see how my machine deals with it! I'll let you know! Thanks for the tip! Great render!

The large wild wolf is totally trusting your lady with that young one so close. Wild hair for your lovely model fits. Inventive poses! Expression says it all! She hopes the Social Harmony lasts!
