Description
I created this for a greeting card and when I pulled it together I thought...."I like that moon, so I pinched it from myself and used it on most if not all of my following renders"
it isn't realistic, it could have so much more done to it
but I just like it
I do love working with animals
photographically and digitally
I once shot a charging white andalusian stallion, the owner said he will charge toward you and you should get some good shots!!!! and then she said, just be careful if he swerves late he might try to kick you!!!!!!
Daz horses are so much more friendlier
I shall post the stallion shots one day for you

The horse is fabulous, the sky is fantastic and the moon is awesome. Yet I miss something in the composition. I would not tell you this if I had not seen your other works of Art. For those tell me you have an incredible eye for composition. For some this image is beyond what they will ever be able to create, for you it's not. ducks and runs

What a beautiful horse... the hair looks amazing. Love the feeling of power and energy that shows under the skin... I like how the picture is composed, love the moon that has already become kind of your signature - there's just something in the lower part of this picture that seems a bit odd... It's a portrait, so I don't think the fact there is no ground should matter so much. But it's visible on part of the legs that the figure and the background don't work so well together. But I still like it as an amazing horse "portrait"... :) Vashek

This horse is really beautifully done with a good pose and superb mane and tail and I like its strength.But it seems floating in the air.Its legs should be set on the ground . The sky with moon and clouds is great too . Take care. Odile

Hi Carl, or should that be Doc? Looking good, like the touch with the moon... With the animals I normally do a little retouching in Ps as I find the outline a little to solid, (ass a few ikkle hairs) if you catch-my drift, and where the material is kinda stretched I normally use the smudge tool to add hair, and take away the stretch (marks) look! I'm not to sure why, but I like to have a ground, just a little (with a ikkle ground shadow) so it doesn't look like the horse is floating. But all in all just brilliant, and maine hair and lights looks breath-taking:-) Paul
