Description

Another cactus flower in my garden was born from a small flowering plant in his first. Ferragosto Da Wikipedia, l'enciclopedia libera. Assumption From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia. The August holiday is a holiday is typically Italian, absent in other European countries, which falls on August 15. Traditionally dedicated to long trips, is often characterized by lavish lunches and, given the seasonal heat, by refreshing baths in sea water, river or lake. Also widespread exodus to the hills or mountain resorts in search of refreshment. Assumption The term derives from the Latin phrase feriae Augusti (Augustus' rest), indicating a feast instituted by the emperor Octavian Augustus in 18 BC that was added to the existing ancient holiday falling in the same month as the Consualia to celebrate the harvest and the end of the main farm work. The former Assumption, in addition to the obvious purpose of self-promotion policy was intended to link major holidays Agostana to provide an adequate rest period, also called Augustali necessary after the great effort expended during the previous weeks. During the festivities, throughout the empire were organized racing horses and draft animals, donkeys and mules, were exempted from work and decked with flowers. These ancient traditions are still alive today, virtually unchanged in form and participation during the "Palio of the Assumption" held in Siena on August 16. Occasion, workers handed greeting the owners, in exchange for getting a tip: the custom took root deeply, so that the renaissance was made compulsory by the papal decrees. Coincides with the Catholic feast of the Dormition and Assumption of Mary (mother of Jesus). There is a parallel between the themes of the kidnapping of Sabine virgins and that of the Virgin in heaven. Good sunday and good week Thanks for the comments and the favourites of previous image

congratulazioni, una foto bellissima! io i catus ho rinunciato a coltivarli, anzi non coltivo niente, tranne i fiori di seta... il pollice verde ce l'ha Flavia! qui tempo discreto e fuochi d'artificio, li ho appena sentiti, trentamila euro in fumo. Bah!
