Description

Dave (Magnus073) is always thinking about other people. Even when he is struggling himself. He started doing 3d images to bring smiles to his 3 nieces when their mother was sick. Over the years he has created dozens of wonderful images in his own unique style based on other people's memories. Now it's your turn Dave. I have been wanting to do this for you for a very long time, but have scrapped every other attempt. I hope this helps raise your spirits in the difficult times you are having. {{{hugs}}} Credits: M4 V4 Stephanie Petite K4 DAZ Faerie Kelly Lodge Dream Home Study Jai Hair Lin Hair Radiant Jaguar Hair Love Bytes for RJH Little Things Beck for M4 L75 Casual for M4 V3 & SP Clothing Pack Casual Outfit for V4 WD Kicken Josie's Jewels K4 Sweetheart Vickie Glasses Computer Desk Bokeh Magic Ethereal Lights Brushes

Sandy, I'd meant for the longest time to comment on this, as a few people told me you'd done it. And I honestly thought I had commented on it---but I hadn't. So let me do it now. First, the scene is filled with magic & beauty, it's wonderful how the fairy is flying off the screen and how the family is all looking & pointing to the screen in joy & awe. And the man---Dave I presume---is opening his arms as if he's releasing the fairy into the world to go out and do its magic. Beautiful gesture, and very symbolic of Dave on every level. But then there's the quality of the people (I do see the 2 girls and the older female, like his family): This is so much in Dave's style, I was speechless when I first saw it. The gestures are a tribute to him, the clothes, the hues, the way they move in the room & how you have them seated around the room---so much a tribute to the way dave fills a space and fills it with joy. And the way the youngest girl is pointing, the counterpoint of everyone with the rug (on angles, a subtle musical touch), and the relaxed poses of everyone---these are all wonderful tributes to Dave. A beautiful, mysterious & joyous image for your friend and a friend to everyone here. Your words hit it right on the head: He's one of the most giving souls here, a peacemaker supreme, a caretaker of everyone hurting & struggling, and tireless in his day to day comments, favs, and letters (I think he must have 2 or 3 doubles to keep up with it all); and those wonderful images he puts up celebrating the childhood of us all. A beautiful tribute, I'm really sorry I didn't comment earlier (I really thought I had!), and it shows your big heart, since you too struggle each day, and I assume, from all you say, that each image you make takes a lot of time & commitment. You have much to be proud of here, your labors result in works of geniuine light & luminous energies, and fine detail and compositions and feelings. And this is another fine image by you, and a wonderful dedication for a great friend to us all. Fine work Sandy. I'll be back for more. Many blessings your way...

Mark has described so well how marvelously this image is representative of Dave. I second his words wholeheartedly. I love the POV here. From the very first images of Dave's that I commented on, I was struck by the intimacy he achieved by having them down at the child's level. It brings the viewer right into the story being told. You do that wonderfully here too. Another thing I always notice in his work is the interaction between his characters. Again you do that so well here. There is a feeling in the poses of the girls and in their positions, of not only the joy they have in what they are seeing, but also the joy in seeing it together. And there is much love and joy in the pose and expression of Dave in bringing it to them. I can see you put a lot of thought into this. Which, of course, also makes it perfect for Dave, who puts so much thought into the images he does for others. This fits Dave to a T. It's a wonderful gift and goes to one totally deserving of it. Very beautiful work.
