finishing off some models from last year this is the atu that goes with the ft102 posted yesterday,was wondering if anybody could advise me of a better way to add text etc to facia,s and meters at the moment im using text splines and extrusions and it,s a real headache 8-[ thanks fir veiwing 8-)

Most decals are silk-screened on, in which case UV mapping it and putting it on as part of the texture should work just fine. But it looks ok this way too. Gives it the molded-into-plastic raised lettering look.

I have had the issue too...but ...the work of splines/extrusion seems to be worth it. On the other hand pauljs75 has a point .Good luck. Model looks cool though.
