quite another beautiful look onto/into relations, so it appears to me because i see people in there interacting. and as always it is a delight to see one of these, my very favourites of yours, these blacks! wonderful done, ana :)

it's like the waters of time dripping down a large stone mountain, leaving all these furrows and impressions in the rock. But it's also like a soft growth of light & dark & shadow. It's soft as well as hard. The top part feels "horizontal," and then everything falls vertically, like a cascade of forms falling downwards. It's a big mountain with a big "stone waterfall" coming off the top. And when one sees it full-size, one sees---once again---how deep & rich your "blacks" really are: Ie, how much you do with grays, with touches of red or rust-red, with touches of blue or blue-green, and how rich your brush-work is: You do things with ink & gouache that many artists could only do with oil. The power of this piece rests as much in your immense brushwork & all its richness & "interaction" as it does in the actual lines and cascades of black & white. And the painting emanates from the right side, like an old Oriental painting---with mountains on one side, and open space on the other. Another brilliant ink/gouache painting from you, and a real piece of introspective beauty. (I bet you didn't expect to see me online, lol! But I never said anything about this, and it was time! I'm only a month late!)

This touches me! Love the depth to it, and it has a lot of artistic truth! Too much and on just half a canvas. Holy Bravo!
