Description
Well, the first render on the new beast. It runs pretty good. I didn't see where it was a whole helluva lot faster, but what I did notice was it didn't lag stutter and choke which this outfit did to my other machine. I ran Photoshop and a browser during the rendering and nothing slowed down. It's definitely a multitasking machine. Maybe in Pro 2010 or Poser 8 it would be faster since I'm dragging my feet and still on Pro7. I like PoserPro 7 better than the newer Poser versions. I have over 4 terabytes of room in this machine. That makes me giggle... :)

Nice illustration style. Congrats on the new machine. I recently bought a 1TB external HD for backup. After loosing the internal HD twice within 1 year I thought I had better get an external HD for backup. Don't put all your eggs in one basket.

Very sweet render, Laura! She looks great. for some real fun, see how the machine handles multi-reflective surfaces with some that are translucent or transparent. this is the only time my machine starts slowing down Sounds like your new machine is everything that you need! I got wise and I have an 500gig external backup, plus other machines that I can use.

Congratulations on the new computer. You can tell more by how your raving than by the image that you like your new toy. Now lets see some seriously complex lighting and other stuff like that. Show us what your new baby can do! Nice work.

That is a huge model (I looked at the kb size and knew it just wouldn't run on my machine) and to be able to surf and have Pshop open at the same time is pretty amazing! LOL and I like imagining her trying to get a running start here for takeoff ;) Brynn just seems like a steampunk kinda gal!

You make me so jealous. I'm in desperate need of a new updated machine, just can't afford it right now. :( But, good for you! I'm sure you'll find the machine will crank out the most difficult images in next to no time. This looks awesome. Now really challenge yourself and put in some more characters! :P

Doing renders you couldn't do before, running other stuff in the background, and cranking up this much detail in the outfit... yeah, that's why. Nice first experiment with the new beast and a fine render to boot.

I know, I know, I definitly need to comment some more but as we where moving again (this time it was mold in the walls..) it's so hard to catch up. But this supercool graphic effect, almost like a painting, desires a comment. And 4 terrabyte disc space, huh?! No, I am not envy, not a bit, well... to be honest... I am VERY envy!!! LOL
