Description

The Broad-bodied Chaser, Libellula depressa, is one of the most common dragonflies in Europe and central Asia. It is very distinctive with a very broad flattened abdomen, 4 wing patches and, in the male, the abdomen becomes pruinose blue. This one is wandering around our garden pond. Magnifique insecte, magnifique photo. Magnifique détail des pattes qui tiennent la tige. Et j'adore les lignes géométriques. La tige légèrement penchée. Le corps. les ailes.
