Yesterday I discovered new garden inhabitants. Wasp Spiders (Argiope bruennichi)! And not only one. Four of these large spiders live in my garden. A fine picture of this resident to your garden.Some people use to call these Banana spiders when I was growing up back in Massachusetts.I am glad to finally learn the actual name.

OMG that is a fabulous spider closeup. Love it. A long time ago we had a spider we named Matilda who liked to spin big webs by our house. I was a child at that time. This is the same kind of spider. A real beauty.
