Description

I could not resist sticking my lens out of my open car window as I sat in traffic on the way into town this morning. The mist and smog seemed to make a fitting farewell to the power station towers in Pinelands which will be imploded on Sunday. We will be saying goodbye to a landmark - then again, with a mountain like ours, who needs cooling towers! Not a perfect shot I know - have not rigged a tripod on the roof with a remote release - yet! Grins, Clive

Heard about these Cooling towers being imploded. They implode one of our cooling towers as well a few years ago.I agree who would want to see cooling towers if one could enjoy Table Mountain.
