Hi there. This white earwig (Dermaptera - not sure about the species) was sitting on the wall of the house of my parents in law. I think he was molting short time before I found him - that causes the white color. It was not an imago as I took the shot. Thanks for all the comments on my ladybug-shots. They are all esteemed.

Thats crazy! We have those here, in fact too many- but I have never seen one that looks like an Albino version like this- or after molting. Great capture Markus! Funny how they are called earwigs, as it is an old urban legend-- they do not enter the ear by habit :)

I think this is the first time I've noticed one that's white. My lilies get these inside the tight foliage in bunches but this is a really excellent look at how they look up close.

Superb macro! I think you may be right about the white color, I saw a white cockroach in one of my flower beds and looked it up to find out that they look like that after molting.
