Description

Hi Everyone, here is a photo of an oops. My nephew and I were using the bows Monday and on his last shot he hit his own arrow. Here you can see one shaft sticking out of the other. Admittedly I had the idea of removing the other two arrows from the target and I also moved these two a bit to the right to place them in the center of the mark. That was only for the thought that when an arrow hits exactly where the previous did they should have been hitting center of the target. He was proud of this arrow hit and will no doubt hang it on his wall to show friends. Luckily they are not expensive arrows so a ten dollar bill will get him back practicing. For those who like to know more- the bow he used was a Parker Buckhunter compound, 3 pin fiber optic sight and string peep. Distance a measured range twenty five yards. The arrows are a Walmart brand Wolverine carbon 31". Thanks for looking. -GB-

Ace shot! Well done! Reminds me, of the day I was taken shooting with 'Vintage Rifles' by Rog and Bill.. Was handed an Garrard M.1 Rifle and bullets and much to the shock of everyone and myself scored a bull with the first shot.. (Didn't get another though! lol) Never shot a M.1 before.. Keep practicing ..Olympic team awaits! Rob

That's a one in a million shot for most of us. I can hit the target but never split my own arrow! Congratulations to him.
