Description
This is a shot of Fulton stadium, in Atlanta Georgia, we went Sunday to see them play against the Dodgers to celebrate my son's birthday.. it was extremely hot, the Braves stomped all over the Dodgers it was brutal.. but we had a blast.. my son called me the next day to say he was so sorry the Dodgers lost but he said it was so awesome to see you and what a great time he had .... and that MADE MY DAY!! for sure. So we did have a great time, after that we went to a diner that is a trademark restaurant in Atlanta, it is known as 'The World's Largest Drive-in Restaurant' and pretty good, their chili dogs aren't as good as Pink's in Hollywood but its a very fun place to visit..
I spent about 7 hours in the emergency hospital with my daughter last night she is doing better now, she slept most of the day, she finally woke up around 2 this afternoon and I made her french toast and bacon one of her favorites and she went right back to sleep after that so we had a very long night.. I hope everyone is fine and I hope you enjoy this for those of you that like baseball, and I will probably post another photo or two of our day at the park... by the way final score that day Atlanta 14 Dodgers 0
oh and by the way the stadium looks so empty because we got there real early my son wanted me to get there way before game time to show me around. There was a big crowd and quite a lot of Dodger fans there which was cool to see.

Excellent shot , but that is Turner Field, Atlanta Fulton County Stadium was imploded after the Olympics in 1996 Turner Field was the replacement built out of the Olympic Stadium. Sounds like you went to the Varsity for chili dogs, Hope your daughter is better, I am originally from Atlanta and a big baseball fan, I attended my first game back in 1966 back when the Braves first moved to Atlanta , I havent been to the new Turner Field though, so you got one up on me.

Opps you are right I am so use to calling it Fulton stadium haha thanks for clearing that up, and it is an awesome stadium, I am use to Dodger stadium and palm trees in the distance, but Turner stadium is something to see for sure. And yes it was the The Varsity that we went to for their yummy chili dogs and onion rings yummmy..

Lots of work went into this stellar composition, Lynell, paying tribute to one of America's favorite sports. Glad you had a good time at the game, that your daughter is doing better -- you're a good mommy -- but that still doesn't take away from the fact that the Dodgers suck, and doing worse than they ever have over a ton of seasons, due primarily to their lousy bullpen.
