Description
To all my dog loving friends;
My Pomeranian, Sugar, born March, 1997, loved sleeping stretched out, with her back against my chest at night.
She was 50% LOVE, 25% Loyalty and 25% all round fun.
Last night was no exception. I awoke about 5:23am, having to pee, Sugar moved to let me up out of bed; plopping back down besides me, when I returned, sometimes licking my cheek as we'd go back to sleep, which she did this morning for the last time.
I awoke at 7:23AM. Sugar didn't move. Stretched out besides me, on her side as usual, she'd passed away peacefully in her sleep.
The vet, examining her at 8:05AM, said she was still warm and apparently her enlarged heart just quit.
I miss her terribly!

There could not be a more beautiful tribute than this. I'm heartbroken for you, tears streaming down my face as I read and write. Too many people underestimate the power of a pet. Got your e-mail...so, so sorry for your loss. We have five dogs and 11 cats....cats in and out except for a few. Would not trade one of them for weight in gold. St. Francis...comfort her.

It is a very sad moment for you to loose such a beloved little girl. The one thing I can say is that she could not have passed on in a better way. How many beings are so lucky as to move on sleeping in bed with a loved one. You were both blessed; take heart in your love for her. She will be waiting for you at rainbow bridge.

Sugar B. was a beautiful baby. she is in the happy hunting ground and waiting for you. it is very hard to lose a family member no matter how. my condolunces.
